ACT ONE -Writing the dialogue

Now all great plays, including yours, begin with the word.  The word is what we tell ourselves, over and over, day after day, usually without any thought.  It is our internal dialogue.  I'm fat.  I'm ugly.  I'm sick.  I'm tired.  Sound familiar?  We are what we say we are ... but what are we saying?  And is that really who we want to be?  If the answer is no the first thing we have to change is to change our dialogue ... both internal and external.

To change your dialogue you don't have to buy any fancy equipment.  You don't have to write every morning.  You don't have to spend any money.  You just have to change how you think and the quickest way to change how you think is to change how you act ... whether it's acting happy, acting thin, acting young, or acting healthy!
